A forum is a website where people can share views, opinions, ideas, and skills on a particular subject.
You can browse through the forum and read all the items without registering but if you register yourself on the site you can add your own views and items, reply to others, send messages to other members, take part in polls and become incorporated into the Forum Community.
What is involved in Registering – I am scared?
Registering is simple and completely free of charge.All registering does is to make you a member of the community.You can show as much or as little of your details as you want.For example, you will need an email address to register but you can choose to make this accessible to other members or keep it completely private.
Is it safe?
Communicating with others via a Forum is as safe as browsing the Internet.Messages are exchanged to the Server, not to individual computers.It is basically an interactive website.You will need your normal antivirus software that you should have as if you were browsing the internet.
Okay, I have registered – now what?
Click on the “How to use this Forum” link on the home page of the forum.This will explain the basic steps to get you started.Once you have had a couple of goes it will be easier than sending an email and you will get the hang of just how much you can do.
To start with, there won’t be many topics but the more we use it, the more we can get from it.Encourage everyone you know to have a go – somebody somewhere will know how to do that thing you just can’t get right, like the best product to use to stick up wallpaper without getting wrinkles!
